At karmaboxx our boxes are only half the story. We have an "unconventional" approach to business. Did you know that of the 235 billion dollars given to charity last year, 195 billion was from public versus corporate pockets? It got us thinking, what if corporate citizens were as generous as their private counterparts? We at karmaboxx believe that in addition to being responsible to the environment that we all share, businesses should be responsible to re-invest their profits in the communities in which they operate.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Mahatma Ghandi said that we should be the change that we seek in the world. We believe that now more than ever, non-profits, environmental groups, local charities, and after school programs need help to continue their work in serving our community. As private citizens Americans are the most philanthropic nation in the world, but unfortunately most businesses have not followed suit. We know that we have a responsibility to be the change rather than just hope for it.

At karmaboxx we are committed to donating a minimum of 2% of gross sales (more than twice what most companies donate to philanthropic causes) right back into our Seattle community. So here is where we need your help. Whether you have used our service or not, we want you to tell us which charities we should support. Email us and cast your vote! In three months we will post the top three choices, and divide our contribution accordingly. Thanks for helping us pay it forward.

Northwest Harvest is Washington���s own statewide hunger relief agency. For over 40 years, we���ve served the needs of our neighbors in communities across the state. Our mission is to provide nutritious food to hungry people statewide in a manner that respects their dignity, while working to eliminate hunger. Northwest Harvest provides a variety of nutritious food at no cost to a statewide partner network of more than 300 food banks, meal programs and elementary schools. Currently, the partners in our statewide network provide over 600,000 client services every month. Northwest Harvest can feed a family of three one complete, nutritious meal for 67 cents. Last fiscal year, we secured more than 24 million pounds of food for distribution. Our vision is that ample nutritious food is available to everyone in Washington State and we welcome your support!
